After baby comes I usually reallllly take it easy for the long term health of my body and so I can just enjoy and focus on baby. “Feels like the countdown has begun!!! About two months to go before baby comes! Trying to move when I can cause I feel so good during and after,” Hamilton wrote in an Instagram post. ![]() However, Hamilton has been kept busy with three children and one on the way. Hamilton has since announced that she will no longer compete in World Surf League events nor will she support the league going forward if the rule change remains in place. The World Surf League claims to have made this change to align with the current Olympic guidelines. ![]() “I personally think that that the best solution would be to create a different division so that all can have a fair opportunity to showcase their passion and talent – and I think it’s really hard to imagine what the future of women’s surfing will be like in 15-20 years down the road if we move forward allowing this major change,” she concluded. “Who is pushing for this huge change? Does this better the sport of surfing? Is it better for the women in surfing?” “Is a hormone level an honest and accurate depiction that someone indeed is a male or female? Is it as simple as this?” she continued. “Have any of the current surfers in the World Surf League been asked what their thoughts and opinions are on this new rule before it was passed or announced?
